This introductory course is for people who are new to the construction and civil engineering industries. It teaches you the main health and safety issues on construction sites and how these affect your role. It is also recommended as a Health and Safety refresher of knowledge after five years. This is a highly interactive course taught through case studies, classroom discussion, group work and individual or group presentations.
Assessment: Multiple-choice test. You need to attend all 7.5 hours to qualify for this Certificate.
IThis two-day Site Safety Plus course is for site supervisors. You will learn about your legal responsibilities regarding health, safety, welfare and environmental issues. The certificate you gain is valid for 5 years. This is a highly interactive course taught through case studies, classroom discussion, group work and individual or group presentations. You will need to do some self-study outside the course.
Assessment: Continuous assessment. You need to attend all 2 days - see the Site Safety H&S Awareness Course attendance requirements. Multiple-choice test.
This course is for project managers, site managers and supervisors, business owners and clients. You will gain an understanding of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues on construction sites. The certificate is valid for 5 years. This is a highly interactive course taught through case studies, classroom discussion, group work and individual or group presentations. You will need to do some self-study outside of the course.
